Mall Building located in Monterrey, Mexico. The cladding is porcelain in large format combined with off-cuts of 1200 x 600 mm, 1200 x 400 mm and 1200 x 200 m, placed with horizontal blocked joints. For acceptance of the fastening system, it was required to support, with safety coefficients included, hurricane winds with loads of up to 250 kg/m2, which implies the use of a central profile to avoid the direction of the porcelain itself. In this project, this extra profile did not represent an increase, as it was necessary for the off-cut with blocked joints. The system used in this project was PF-ALT/SO.
