PF-ALU/PL

Description

Fixed anchoring of a great capacity and resistance specifically designed to be mounted on PF-ALU aluminum profiles. The technique implemented in this type of anchoring features the use of a stamped double flat stainless steel bar and machined with adjustment bushings that are inserted in the slotting carried out in the axis of the claddings to be installed. More specifically, the sizing and shaping of these anchors is done by double folding panels with a variable base. Each of these models is used depending on the dimensions of the cladding (thicknesses of 3, 4 and 5 cm) and of their position on the façade.  The intersection GR-PL-100 model joins the cladding panels on the corners with the possibility of joining up to 4 panels. It is specifically designed to optimize the use of profiles in small cladding panels. However, the GR-PL-46 model only allows connecting two cladding panels (a top and a bottom one) at the same time, and it is specifically designed for large cladding cut-offs.

PF-ALU/PLC

Description

Anchor positioned parallel to the PF-ALU profile consisting of two overlapping machined flat bars specifically designed for claddings of porcelain material or other materials with a small thickness ranging from 8 to 20 mm. The panels are fastened by means of hidden flanges inserted in 2 mm thick slots made on the edge of the panel. Highly versatile anchoring that allows the cladding panels to be easily repositioned and/or replaced, always ensuring that the joint between the panels remains at 6 mm. The system is equipped with a stainless steel spring that maintains the cladding free from vibration and/or movement. 
 
It is available in two versions, GR-PLC-46 and GR-PLC-100, depending on the size of the cladding to be supported.

PF-ALU/CER

Description

Anchor positioned parallel to the PF-AL profile consisting of a single machined flat bar specifically designed for 8 to 15 thick claddings of porcelain material with panels that are frontally almost hidden because it can optionally be lacquered with the RAL color of the cladding to be supported.
 
Highly versatile anchor that allows to easily reposition the cladding panels and/or replace them, always ensuring that the joint between the panels is mechanically kept stable. The system is equipped with a stainless steel spring that maintains the cladding free from vibration and/or movement. It is available in two versions GR-PLC-46 and GR-PLC-100, depending on the size of the cladding to be supported.

Specially suitable for claddings with horizontally positioned panels using two continuous joints (alternatively possible to use 50% locked joints in large panels).
 
The GR-CER system can be used as an alternative solution because it allows the installation of panels in a vertical position using locked joints.

PF-ALU/CLA

Description

Adjustable anchoring of a great capacity and resistance, specifically designed to be mounted on PF-ALU aluminum profiles. The technique implemented in this type of anchoring features the use of a stamped and machined double flat stainless steel bar that allows adjusting the axis (x), supplementary to that of the profile, by means of a simple set of nut and lock nut in order to ensure proper vertical and horizontal alignment. Axis (y) is adjustable by means of the movement within its own position along the length of the profile, to which it is fixed with a self-tapping screw to prevent the clip from falling. Axis (z) allows a movement within its own position of up to 20 mm, supplementary to that of the fastening elements of the profiles.
 
This clip model is available in different sizes to better adapt to the specific characteristics of each cladding, load and wind conditions.

PF-ALU/HPL

Description

With this new profile-clip, Sistema Masa has excelled itself and any other product existing on the market given its great versatility and speed when being mounted, allowing the laying out of the vertical profiles at random, regardless of the position of the vertical joints of the cladding. It is a system that gives an exceptional performance during assembly as it does not require any screws for fixing the claddings, ensuring the stability of the entire cladding thanks to the innovation of a new silent-block design, which absorbs the expansion and contraction of the entire cladding and provides the possibility of maintaining different thicknesses in the vertical joints (from 1 mm to 10 mm), at the same time, it centers and favors the flatness of the cladding. It is specially recommended for smaller size cladding cut-offs in vertical position, with continuous horizontal joints or free vertical joints.

Product family of system PF-ALU/HPL
 
The horizontal profiles making up the PF-ALU/HPL system are marketed in 3 dimensions: PF-ALU/HPL-40, PF-ALU/HPL-60 and PF-ALU/HPL-120 depending on the thickness and dimension of the cladding panels. The base of the system, made up by PF-ALU vertical profiles and ES-ALU fastening elements, is present in the three versions, allowing preserving the system adjustment untouched. This adjustment allows compensating any differences in the plumb line of the vertical walls (building enclosure walls)
 
Given the system operation, the installation of a specific dimension of the horizontal profile will modify the amount of vertical profiles and fastening elements, as the different conditions change the structural layout.
PF-ALU/HPL-40: Ideal horizontal profile to fasten low panels (maximum 40/50cm). Its small dimensions allow the optimization of the separation between elements making it more suitable for panels in horizontal position with continuous horizontal joints and a free vertical joints and thicknesses ranging from 12 to 20 mm. Requires slot e: 2 mm de-beaded.
 
PF-ALU/HPL-60: Horizontal profile dimensioned to house panels of an intermediate height (maximum 60/80 cm). This is the most commonly used horizontal profile dimension, as it covers most of the normally studied off-cuts. It is the one providing greater flexibility, as it can be adapted correctly to small off-cuts, still remaining suitable for the intended use, and to larger off-cuts without losing resistance. For thicknesses of 30, 40 and 50 mm. Requires slot e: 5 mm de-beaded.
 
PF-ALU/HPL-120: Horizontal profile specially designed to house large panels Ideal to fasten vertically positioned panels with continuous horizontal joints and free vertical joints. For thicknesses of 30, 40 and 50 mm. Requires slot e: 5 mm de-beaded (idem GR-HPL60).

PF-ALU/HTR

Description

Horizontal profile PF-ALU-HTR, continuous support of upper and lower GR-TR anchors, fixed to the vertical PF-ALU profiles with self-tapping screws, with the function of supporting the weight of the cladding and wind load. The anchor GR-TR, specially designed for small thickness claddings, is fixed to the cladding panels by means of the TR-MASA plug, designed for porcelain claddings and/or stone claddings featuring a remarkable compressive strength. The technique implemented in this anchoring features the use of an extruded aluminum profile, machined by specific geometry in order to fit in the horizontal profile, with height adjustment and fixed to the cladding by inserting the TR-MASA plug in the cylindrical holes made on the rear side of the panels to make up the cladding. As also applicable to other Sistema Masa products, it allows easy assembly with the possibility of replacing or installing panels at any point of the cladding.
 
System designed to solve the fastening of thin claddings, especially for slate panels due to their high level of exfoliation. Ideal for claddings in a vertical position with continuous horizontal joints and free vertical joints. The fastening of panels using the rear side allows maximum flexibility in the buttings.

Family of system  PF-ALU/HTR
 
The horizontal profiles making up the PF-ALU-HTR system are marketed in two sizes: PF-ALU/HTR-60 and PF-ALU/HTR-120 depending on the thickness and dimensions of the cladding and system application.
 
The base of the system, made up by PF-ALU vertical profiles and ES-ALU fastening elements, is present in the three versions, allowing preserving the system adjustment untouched. This adjustment allows compensating any differences in the plumb line of the vertical walls (building enclosure walls)
 
Given the system operation, the installation of a specific dimension of the horizontal profile will modify the amount of vertical profiles and fastening elements, as the different conditions change the structural layout.
 
PF-ALU/HTR-60: Horizontal profile to support small panels, horizontally positioned panels as well as vertically positioned panels with horizontal locked joints. Its small size allows optimizing the separation between elements and making it more suitable for smaller off-cuts or those with small thickness. This requires the cladding to be machined to fasten the GR-TR clips. For thicknesses of 10 to 20mm.
 
PF-ALU/HTR-120: Horizontal profile specially designed to house large panels. Ideal to fasten vertically positioned panels with continuous horizontal joints and free vertical joints. As with the PF-ALU/HTR-60 profiles, the system application requires the cladding to be machined to fasten the GR-TR clips. For thicknesses ranging from 20 to 30 mm.

PF-ALU/HPI

Description

Horizontal profile HPI, continuous support of GR-TR anchors, fixed to the vertical PF-ALU profiles with self-tapping screws, with the function of supporting the weight of the cladding and wind load. The connection to the cladding is done using GR-PI anchors, specially designed for slates or quartzite claddings that, given their nature, cannot be machined, as they may undergo total or partial surface detachments (exfoliation).
 
The technique implemented in this type of anchoring features the use of a stamped and machined double flat stainless steel bar, which frontally keeps the cladding almost hidden (it can optionally be lacquered with the RAL color of the cladding to be supported) and exerts a constant pressure on the rear side by means of the GR-MUELLE clip. More specifically, the sizing and shaping of these clips is done using the double folding of the panels with a variable base. Each one of these models is used depending on the dimensions of the cladding (thickness of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 cm) and its layout on the façade.
 
Specifically designed for claddings using slate and other materials, in which machining is not recommended. Ideal for claddings with continuous horizontal joints and free vertical joints.

The system does not require any type of panel machining. For thicknesses ranging from 15 to 20 mm.
 
PF-ALU/HPI-120: Horizontal profile specially designed to house large panels. Ideal to fasten vertically positioned panels with continuous horizontal joints and free vertical joints.
 
As with the PF-ALU/HPI-60 profiles, the system requires no machining of the cladding panel for fastening by means of 3 mm GR-PI clips. For thicknesses ranging from 20 to 40 mm.

PF-ALT/SO

Description

Anchor with visible flanges, which is positioned parallel to the vertical uprights and is especially designed for thin cladding systems such as gres porcelain, fiber cement, agglomerates, composites, glass, and high pressure laminates (HPL), etc. The system operates together with a high performance adhesive in order to ensure correct fastening with maximum safety. The system is easy to be applied and requires an e:1 mm machining on the edge of the cladding panels in order to house the anchoring flanges. 
 
There are two versions available, Pin and Terminal, depending on the area of cladding to be fastened.

The GR-SOV system is a system of mechanical support anchors supplemented with an elastic high-performance adhesive especially designed for façade panels.

MASA KEY: Intending to provide a practical application, Sistema Masa has designed an innovative system based on the use of keys that have been specially developed for the cladding to exert pressure on the profile, thus keeping the joint between the panels stable until the GR-SV anchors are installed. Once the support anchors have been installed, the keys are then removed for use in other parts of the cladding.
