New multi-family building with Sistema Masa facades

We will now talk about the multi-family home and office building project being built in Calle Pere IV, Barcelona. It is a building with ventilated facades, ceramic cladding and highly innovative anchoring systems.
Just a few meters from Parc Central de Poblenou, this building has been designed by architects Benito Miró Llort and Damián Ribas Malagrida. The most unique feature about this project is its facade with changing volumetrics, which gives it a dynamic and modern appearance. The building is designed as homes and offices and occupies the entire block on Calles Pere IV, Marroc, Bac de Roda and Fluivà, in Barcelona, with a total surface area of 1,100 square meters.
In the accesses to the offices, there is an innovative combination with the exposed brick facade and the ventilated facade with ceramic cladding. Also, the design is reinforced with very distinctive vertical joints that combine with the offset of the carpentry.
Sistema has chosen the PF-ALT/SV anchor system for this project. It is a fastening system with visible flanges, especially designed for vertical assemblies and for thinner cladding. This Sistema Masa product is very innovative as the company has designed a system based on the use of specific keys to press the cladding against the profile maintaining the joint between plates until the GR-SV anchors are fitted.
